Is now this:

This:

Is now this (my office):

And then there are these (the Heirs' rooms):

And the master bedroom (okay, no sleazy comments about the equipment, you pigs):

And this (dining room) (It's not yellow, it's cream, I tell you. Cream):

And this (living -- er--great room) (Okay it is yellow, but I ordered cream):

And this (library):

And, Sisiggy says with a great big sigh, is my bathroom:

Of course, Zsa Zsa has her own view of the new house.
Editor's Note: Okay, so there's no pithy and insightful writing. But Sisiggy has waited a long time for this house and, lest you think she may actually be living it up in her new house, we offer this, the guest room:

Shenandoah County doesn't feel we are able to occupy this house without paint on the guest room walls. Mine is a life of irony.

Wow, that seems it's almost worth the time you've waited for it. OK, maybe not THAT long, but almost ;-)
And besides that, how long does it usually take to build a castle for the queen...?
The house looks great. Even the unfinished parts.
Since you have a fireplace in the library and no book shelves I assume that you just burn books there. I think that is a great idea. I don't like reading either.
Except blogs of course..
Nice. Very nice. I love all the big windows and saturated colors too. The cheesecake will look very good in that house.
Glad to see walls and windows and doors!
well congrats to you . this is one nice house. how many square feet is it? this had to cost a pretty penny. i am very happy for you though. also these are great photos. who took them?
Love the way you updated all the rooms. Sure will be a warm feeling with the colors you have chosen. I love all the space you have. Nice place.
Yes our town is strict like that now, but years ago they weren`t. You have to show a blueprint every time you change the outside or enlarge the house, but they only check electrical, sewage, and things like that, not wether you have painted a room or not. yours is really picky.
Going to be beautiful when you are finished.
So ... when were you going to tell us about the FIVE AND A HALF bathrooms?
Umm...Doesn't everyone have 5 and a half bathrooms?....
Eh-heh...
No waiting!
(I guess I should tell you now about the two laundry rooms...)
We are a filthy people...
HAB2 always makes me laugh.
Beautiful...I love color on all my walls. My brother thinks I have too much color...he's always been a sort of black and white guy though.
Two laundry rooms? That's awesome.
